The Oceanside Girls Varsity Soccer team is looking forward to a more successful season. With a change in conference the team is looking to rebuild and hopefully move back up to Conference One in the future. Coach Winchester, after 28 years of coaching, stated this about the upcoming season, “My goals for the team this season are to improve our record from last year and naturally do well in the conference playoffs at the end of the season.” She had a game plan for this season also, she said “Finding the best chemistry of girls that works well on the field. In past years this may not have been the case. This year each and every girl knows what is expected of them. Hopefully, they will remember they can be replaced by someone equally as skilled.
