Restaurant Review: Centre Slice

by ARIANA HERBST

Feeling like Italian tonight?  Centre Slice in Rockville Centre can satisfy your craving!

This small restaurant can most definitely satiate your big appetite.  When you walk in, the wondrous smells of Italy immerse you. The small space is compensated for by the cozy feel you get from the decorations. The wood paneling gives the restaurant a homey feel and the owners work for themselves. They are extremely nice and magnificent cooks.

Of course, they have the traditional pizza slices such as regular and sicilian, along with the mouthwatering specialty slices such as buffalo chicken, caesar salad, ziti, and barbeque chicken.  They also offer paninis, specialty dishes such as baked ziti and penne alla vodka, and sandwiches such as chicken parmigiana and sausage and peppers. Their extended menu includes seafood dishes, soups, and a variety of appetizers.  What makes this little restaurant special, though, is that they’ve come up with their own little idea for what they call “sticks.” Shown below is a picture of the delicious  mozzarella snack, which only cost fifty cents each!

Unfortunately, the owners have revealed that there is a possibility for a move in the near future. This great restaurant could be transported to a bigger facility in the very popular, business friendly Brooklyn.
