Senior Spotlight: Rachel Milberg

by SHANE GOLDSTEIN

Besides writing as our Entertainment Editor here at the Sider Press, Rachel Milberg is involved in a multitude of other clubs and societies here at Oceanside High School, bringing unparalleled passion and drive to everything that she does. Rachel devotes the large majority of her time to Thespian Troupe 132. She is currently the president of the largest group of thespians in the troupe’s history and has most recently directed the thespian revue, “Thespians Tonight”. Rachel is also the only thespian to have been involved in all fifteen possible productions performed at the high school since her freshmen year, a testament to her talent and devotion. She is further greatly involved in B’Nai B’Rith Youth Org (BBYO), serving as the s’ganit of Oceanside’s Citadel chapter. However, Rachel’s talents are not only limited to her theatricality and leadership. She is also an absolutely brilliant writer and hopes to pursue writing in some respect in college and beyond.

I have never met a person so thoroughly inspired by those around her and so passionate about sharing what she loves than Rachel Milberg. I can assure, without any doubt, that whatever Rachel does with her talent and drive, she will continue to impact all of those lucky enough to be her friend. As one of her favorite authors, John Green, wrote “Good friends are hard to find and impossible to forget.”
