Tali Revere is one of the most driven, compassionate and intelligent students here at Oceanside High School. I’ve known Tali since elementary school and I can contest that her demeanor is extremely positive, amiable and altruistic. Her personality is a great contribution to the clubs and activities in which she is involved. In addition to writing for the Sider Press, Tali is one of the officers of Cancer Awareness, a volunteer at Camp Anchor and a very talented photographer.

As an officer of Cancer Awareness Club, Tali had a huge role in the production of our second annual O-thon, a six hour dance-athon designed to raise money for pediatric cancer. Tali worked tirelessly to bring attention to this wonderful event and help make it the success that it was. Not only was O-thon a charitable event, it was a lot of fun to be a part of and it felt good to support people in need. We raised over $13,000 which was all donated to kids who are battling cancer.

Tali has a very busy schedule because she devotes her time to so many important activities. At Camp Anchor, she works with children and adults with special needs and enjoys doing activities with them such as going to the movies, teaching them how to cook, and playing games with them. Tali is extremely personable and loves to spend her time helping others or just making people smile.

While managing Cancer Awareness Club and volunteering at Camp Anchor, Tali finds time to work after school and feed one of her unique interests: photography. Tali has a remarkable talent for capturing the perfect moments. She excels is her AP photography class and enjoys snapping shots for our very own Sider Press. She even takes pictures for events, such as communions and other parties.

Tali does not only possess an extremely well-rounded personality, she is one of the most intelligent and determined individuals at OHS. She works hard and gives everything her all. She is very excited to be continuing her education at NYU as a journalism major. Tali is well deserving of this senior spotlight and of every success that life brings her.
