Three Events To Help Victims Of Long Beach Road Fire

On April 25th a fire devastated some Oceanside homes and businesses.The fire started in a convenience store, and spread to Oceanside Chemists and the apartment buildings above. In response to this sudden and tragic event there has been a reaction in the community of kindness and compassion. There are three events that have been organized to help raise money for those affected by the fire.

This Saturday May 14th from open to close Buffalo Wild Wings will donate 20% of each bill to Oceanside Community Service and St. Anthony’s Parish Outreach, specifically for those affected by the fire. On that same day Joe’s Crab Shack will host a car wash along with the Oceanside Fire Department from 10-3 to raise money for the families of the fire.

On Saturday May 21st Oceanside Schools intends to help by hosting a kickball tournament and BBQ along with Oceanside Community Services. The tournament will go from 4-8, with teams of 10 playing against each other. All proceeds go towards the families of the Long Beach Road Fire. All clubs and organizations in the school and community are encouraged and welcome to participate in the tournament.
