Everyone talks about the brand and how it\u2019s one of the most popular clothing stores in the world. In 2021, American Eagle’s revenue went up 33% when they reopened stores after the pandemic. They also increased their global store count to make up for all the new purchases. American Eagle Outfitters can be found in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Hong Kong.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
American Eagle mostly targets teenagers and young adults. Because of this, teenagers spread the word through social media. American Eagle caters to their customers by having trendy clothes with good material, no animal cruelty in the design, manufacturing or testing of the clothing, and very affordable prices. I would say American Eagle is known for all typed of clothing: jeans, hoodies, cardigans, sweatpants, leggings, and even slippers.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the first stand-alone sub-brand store \u201cAerie\u201d opened in 2006, it finally launched a real campaign in 2014. American Eagle believes that Aerie customers \u201cwanted to be comfortable but also trend right\u201d. Aerie is best known for their leggings that went crazy viral mostly on Tiktok. I watched a video and instantly wanted a pair, they’re almost as popular as Lululemon leggings. The difference between the two is mostly fabric. American Eagle\u2019s leggings are thinner, tighter and a lot cheaper than Lululemons. The price difference is around $60. The lululemon leggings are much more light weight with higher tech fabric, but they\u2019re more expensive and Aerie\u2019s leggings look very similar. It all depends on how much you\u2019re willing to spend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
