Every number was great, but three of them stood out to me. The first that stood out to me was “Roaring On” from The Great Gatsby. Near the end of the revue, all the thespians were wearing clothing and accessories from The Great Gatsby. In this number there were many outstanding singers and dancers who performed and really made this song stand out.

Another performance that stood out to me was “I’m Just Ken” from Barbie. This song was a guy’s number, so only male thespians performed. This song stood out to me because of the red lighting on stage and the very entertaining performance from the gentlemen. This number exhibited a lot of emotion and talent from the thespians on stage. I was very impressed with the acting and the vocals from this number, which is why this stood out to me.

One more song that stood out to me was “The Greatest Show” from The Greatest Showman. The Greatest Showman was the perfect way to open up this show. It was very upbeat and very entertaining. The vocals and the dancing were outstanding and very eventful. “The Greatest Show” was the perfect way to open the revue.

by Matt Robley The 2024 Thespian Review was held on September 20th in the OHS auditorium.
