The Grammys took place on Sunday, February 2nd. In case you missed it, here are the highlights from the night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kendrick Lamar had a big night and won 5 awards, all for his diss track named \u201cNot Like Us\u201d that he made about Drake. “Not Like Us” won \u201cRecord of the Year\u201d, \u201cSong of\u00a0 the Year\u201d, \u201cBest Rap Performance\u201d, \u201cBest Rap Song\u201d, and \u201cBest Music Video\u201d.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sabrina Carpenter also won her first ever Grammy awards. This includes \u201cBest Pop Solo\u00a0Performance\u201d for her song “Espresso\u201d and \u201cBest Pop Album\u201d for her album \u201cShort and Sweet,\u201d. Also, Beyonc\u00e9’s\u00a0 new album \u201cCowboy Carter\u201d took home \u201cAlbum of the Year” and \u201cBest Country Album\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chappell Roan also took home her first Grammy for \u201cBest New Artist\u201d. \u201cBest Pop Duo Performance\u201d was given to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars for their song \u201cDie with a Smile,\u201d.\u00a0Charli XCX also brought home 2 awards – \u201cVon Dutch\u201d won for \u201cBest Pop Recording,\u201d and her album \u201cBrat\u201d won \u201cBest Dance\/Electronic Album\u201d. \u201cBest R&B Song\u201d was won by SZA for her song \u201cSaturn\u201d and the new artist Doechii won her first Grammy for \u201cBest Rap Album\u201d with \u201cAlligator Bites Never Heal\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
