As the holiday season gets underway, many people are looking for spots in New York to visit in order to get into the holiday spirit. Many holiday events are taking place in New York, and they appeal to people of all ages. 

Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree 

  • The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is known by many people worldwide and is a great holiday spot to visit with your family. Currently, the tree is up and lit, and many people are making this spot a priority this season. This is a great spot for your family and friends to take pictures, and there are many fun places to shop and eat around the area as well. 

Winter Village at Bryant Park 

  • The Winter Village at Bryant Park is prominent on social media. There are over 180 kiosks for food and shopping, an ice skating rink in the center of the park, and covered booths you can purchase in order to stay warm while spending time here. The Winter Village is on the top of many lists and a perfect place to spend your day. 

The Radio City Rockettes

  • The Radio City Rockettes have been performing every holiday season for the past 89 years. . Although the show is a bit long, it is very enjoyable. Santa, reindeers, and snowmen all play a part in the show and many people get a kick out of it. 

Gingerbread Lane

  • Artist John Lovitch works on a beautiful display of gingerbread houses all year long and they are currently on display in Manhattan. The world’s largest gingerbread village will make jaws drop with its intricate designs. The village will be up for display in Chelsea Market in Manhattan until January 6th and is a must see. 

Grand Central Holiday Fair

  • Similar to the Winter Village at Bryant Park, the Grand Central Holiday Fair includes many kiosks which are full of food and prospective holiday gifts. The fair is located in Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Station which makes it very convenient for people who are going by train into the city. The holiday fair is now open and will stay open until December 24th.
