The Golden Globes recently took place on Sunday, January 11th. In case you missed it, here’s who took home the awards.
Hamnet won best motion picture (drama) and Hamnet actress Jessie Buckley won best actress (drama). One Battle After Another won best motion picture (musical/comedy) and director Paul Thomas Anderson took home the best director award. Best screenplay and best supporting actress were both won by Teyana Taylor. Best actor (drama) was won by Wagner Moura, who starred in The Secret Agent. Best actor (musical or comedy) was won by Timothee Chalamet, who starred in Marty Supreme.
Best actress (musical or comedy) was won by Rose Byrne, who starred in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You and best supporting actor was won by Stellan Skarsgard, who starred in Sentimental Value. Kpop Demon Hunters won two awards: best animated film and best original song “Golden.” Best original score and box office achievement was won by the film Sinners. The Secret Agent won best foreign language film. HBO MAX series The Pitt won best drama series. Best musical or comedy series was won by the APPLE TV series The Studio. NETFLIX show Adolescence won best limited series/tv movie, as well as multiple acting awards. Best stand up performance was won by Ricky Gervais. And for the first time ever, the best podcast award was won by Good Hang with Amy Poehler.
