As many know, Taylor Swift, the 12-time Grammy Award winner, has been seeing Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, for quite some time now. Rumors have been flying around since the middle of July during Swift’s Eras Tour when people spotted Kelce in the audience for one of the Eras Tour shows in Kansas City. Here is their timeline and essential information you need to know about their star-studded romance.

Kelce was spotted at the tour in July and revealed something to the fans. He shared that he had made a friendship bracelet (not with lyrics to one of her songs but with his phone number) to give to the singer at her show. However, Kelce was unable to meet Swift in person. Kelce stated that he was disappointed that she does not talk after or before her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings. However, this did not stop Kelce – he was still determined. A source reported that even though Swift did not get the bracelet, the two managed to connect somehow. The publication said they were seen out and about in New York City in September. 

It is undeniable that Taylor Swift has definitely been enjoying this year’s football season for the Chiefs. Later that month, it was reported that Kelce invited Swift to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City to watch him perform “on stage” because he had seen Swift there for her tour. Eventually, Taylor accepted the invite and was spotted at the Chiefs’ game on September 24th. She was seen with Kelce’s mom, Donna, and was dressed in red, since it is the Chiefs’ color. Many videos and pictures were posted of her in the suite, and it seemed like she was having the best time. Fans and other sources said that Swift left the game with Kelce, and he rented out a restaurant in Kansas City for friends, family, and, of course, Taylor Swift.

Once again, Swift was spotted at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on October 1st. That day, she was not the only cheerleader; she brought friends such as Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner, Hugh Jackman, Antoni Porowski, and her tour opener, Sabrina Carpenter. Kelce’s mom, Donna, and Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, were also present in the suite. She was seen having a great time again. However, both Swift and Kelce left the game separately that night.

Later that month, Swift was seen at the game on October 22nd at Arrowhead Stadium for the third time. Swift wore a vintage Chiefs sweatshirt and spent the whole game dancing, cheering, and jumping for Kelce out on the field. That night, many people noticed that Taylor wore a bracelet with the number 87 which was a reference to Kelce’s jersey number. As if this game couldn’t get any more interesting for Taylor, she struck up a friendship with Mahomes’ wife, Brittany. The two created a handshake and were seen doing it numerous times throughout the game. Following the victory that night, Kelce and Swift were seen leaving the stadium with each other. Also, the next day, Swift was photographed kissing Kelce for the first time.

Even though Swift was seen hanging out with Kelce after the games, it appears they enjoyed each other’s company and were seen out together outside the games as well. As early as September 12th, a source said the two were quietly hanging out in New York City. The next month, they spent a weekend together in New York City. Through October 14th–15th, the two were supposedly holding hands, had dinner together at Manhattan hotspot Nobu, and were spotted at the Saturday Night Live after-party looking like a real couple. An insider who saw them at the restaurant stated, “She seemed really excited around him and giddy and happy like a schoolgirl… They are in their own world”. Kelce left that night with red smudged all over his face, and it looked like Swift’s lips had no lipstick left. On October 19th, Kelce was excited to share that he will be planning to spend time with her in November when she begins her international tour.

Overall, the couple is happy, and it seems that the two are very serious about their plans for the future together. Keeping up with the couple during the rest of the Chiefs’ season and the beginning of Swift’s tour will be fascinating.
