On Friday, March 1st, the Life Fit Basketball Club held their second game of the year between Oceanside and Long Beach. The Club, organized and run by Brian Gilbert and Nicole McCann, aims to “(help) students maintain an active lifestyle as well as build positive relationships with classmates as well as surrounding school districts.”

The Oceanside roster for the March 1st game was Steven A, Olivia A, Nick B, William C, Jason C, Grace D, Vito E, Alyssa G, Brian H, Michael H, Arianna K, Amanda K, Charlie L, Evan L, Hayden M, William M, Christian P, Christian V, Alex W and Jenny W. The event was a big success, packing the seats with students cheering for both teams as they battled back and forth on the court. Following the game, Mr. Gilbert gave his thanks for the “Countless students, teachers, administrators, clubs and teams that come together every year to make this season possible.” We can’t wait for more games to come this season, we wish each team the best of luck, and we can’t wait for next year’s game here in Oceanside!
