Throughout the years, there have been many great horror films. Here are three horror movies that you should watch this Halloween:
The first movie you should watch is Alfred Hitchcock’s masterpiece, Psycho. Don’t let the film’s age (it was released in 1960) discourage you. The film has aged very well. What the movie lacks in special effects, it makes up for with its edgy story. Plus, when you find out who the murderer is, it will make you sick to your stomach.
The next movie that I recommend is When a Stranger Calls. This movie is a babysitter’s worst nightmare. The premise is that a babysitter is stalked and keeps receiving disturbing phone calls. When you find out who is on the other end of the line, you will never want to pick up an unknown phone number again.
My last recommendation is a film from this year. It was actually the last movie that I saw this year prior to COVID. It’s called The Lodge. This disturbing movie takes place in a family winter getaway, but then strange events begin to happen which cause the protagonist to question her life. The ending of the film is disturbing and will make you question everything that you just witnessed.
All of these movies are chilling, so I recommend watching them by yourself with the lights off late at night. Have fun with the nightmares….
